Disclosurism.
I checked up on the comments log, and found that these were in fact the most commented upon posts (10+ comments):
1. March 6: Chiqui's Im still alive thankyou with 14 comments on ears, AYBC, pisspots and implications.
=2. February 29: Ben's Feb 29. with 11 comments filled with Jono inflicted controversy.
=2. March 8: Jackson's2nd Week of University 4 Jackson with 11 comments on Yin's loneliness and new disclosure fears.
Happy commenting!
But in latest news...
The new fear sweeping the blogging community is from that of disclosurism. The new buzz word hit only late last month and has produced the three highest commented blogs to date. It all began with the Jono controversy, where the question of disclosure and archival rummaging was first raised. Since then, there has been a marked change in the nature and content of posts. The community is now delivering milder and more moderated posts to what is a wider and greater reader base. The irony is obvious. But what does it all mean?
Disclosurism. It's basically the new keyword for the paranoia surrounding disclosing information which could potentially fall into the hands of the unintended. Hence, every word being posted nowadays would have undergone stringent scrutiny and this practice does not seem to be abating in the near future. It is now apparent that the more unknown people that feed of blogger fodder, the greater the disclosurism phenomena pervades. Does this sound so-called disclosurism sound the death knell for blogging, or the production of interesting, critical or emotive blogs forever?
