I hate this stereotype.
This stereotype that all guys are bastards.
This stereotype that guys just cheat and fuck and leave.
This stereotype that guys are emotionless jerks.
Well, to everyone who think that, seriously, fuck you.
And even if guys are bastards, or jerks, or whatever name you may call it, there's a reason to it. There's always reasons to it. A close friend of mine sometimes thinks like that. However he's slowly changing, and he has shown his moments of true depth. He was brought up with a father who ran away from his family when he was 5 with another woman. And his father's father was probably a hard worker in the local convenience store who couldn't spend much time with his family mainly because he had to work to make sure he HAD a family.
Guys have their moments of insecurities. Guys have their moments of being melodramatic. Why can't people understand that? Boys are human too.
And is there anything wrong with trying?
Is there anything wrong to try to mend a broken heart? Like trying to fix a water bottle for it to be refilled again.
Is there anything wrong to give everything you can with a broken heart? Like trying to race the official Olympics with a broken leg.
Is there anything wrong to receive, when you are giving back the exact same amount, if not, more, despite having a broken leg? Like giving it all you've got at the Olympics with one leg.
Is there anything wrong with a bit of space? So you can recuperate and give more than you could the last time.
Is there anything wrong with loving someone at the same time and trying your best to juggle your work, family, friends, hobbies, and many other commitments? Just so you can have a balanced and happy life, and in so doing, ensure everything else continues to work in good pace.
Is there anything wrong with giving all you possibly can, and asking back in return some peace, quiet and compromisations? Just so you can continue to give all you possibly can.
Is there anything wrong to have disputes and trying to compromise for each person? So a man can go to the pub on his own and smoke and drink whilst the lady will go to uni with her guy friends.
Is there anything wrong with feeling insecure with someone that you are in love with? Afterall, your heart is pretty much open for attack from them.
Is there anything wrong to try to run away? I mean, if I had 50 hound dogs with razor sharp teeth after me, I think my first reaction would be... SHIT RUN! Wouldn't you?
Is there anything wrong to try to run away from something you want? In the hopes and the trust that the dog would not bite back again. Like when your close friend invites you to an rnb club and you run like hell, but you see them the next day nevertheless.
Finally, is there anything wrong with loving someone, despite the fact you have loved someone else before but do not feel the same way anymore, but you feel that way for that first 'someone' now?
Man, life is hard and then you fucking die.
