random thought

don't you love that feeling.
you walk into those more domesticated department stores, like Kmart or Target.
and you're browsing through their CDs/ DVDs filled with Hillary Duff, Celine Dion MVs, Cher, Justin Timberlake, etc etc.
then you spot a little gem.
like maybe some rare Joy Division live at the Hacienda.
like maybe an old school Smashing Pumpkins album for 99c.
or like today, a MV compilation that contained Deep Forest's Sweet Lullaby.

Deep Forest's Sweet Lullaby was the music in black/ white played in that sbs campaign with this little girl on a tricycle 'travelling around the world' holding this wooden cube with a hole through it that she looks through at the individual locations and people she meets. It was an extremely beautiful clip.

To my disappointment it was an original clip (Thanks Sony for nothing). Basically the MV was compiled from cut outs from the National Geographics series. The ones that didn't make it so they shoved it into this MV.

The rest of the DVD was shit. ARGH.

I might write to SBS to grab a copy. And that dancing bear World Movies ad.
